The Selden Arms is a small U shaped boozer with an interesting premium draught range and I counted six hand pumps, four of which were drawing obscure (to me) ales. A television screen was showing muted horse racing and there is a dartboard around to the left of the bar. The seven or so regulars who were in attendance last Saturday afternoon were very friendly and the conversation created a good atmosphere.

This is certainly one of the better pubs I have been into in this area and I would have no hesitation in returning for a few beers.

The Selden opens directly onto the street (no car park here). Going inside, you're straight into a U-shaped room, with the bar in the middle. 6 handpumps offer a good selection of (mainly) local micros. Draft taps include Guinness & Bitburger.

It's not a large place (tables and seats are rather squashed in) and, on occasion, the pub's popularity can exceed its capacity. The locals are friendly enough, though, so you should have a fine old time.

Very small pub that has got a very good range of changing real ales and I would imagine is one of the best in Worthing.A little bit of a walk from the railway station but well worth the effort.

Samll back street pub opposite the gasometer and near the hospital. A proper pub with plenty of friendly banter over the bar. A good selection of real ales including Ringwood and Dark Star and changing microbrewery guests. Well worth visiting if in the area

have been back a couple of times since we left the area, April 09 the last time and standards have been maintained. This is still probably the best pub in this area with probably the best range of real ales which are 'always' in tip-top condition - Don't miss it.

Great local boozer with a large regular clientèle. Dark Star Hophead and Ringwood Forty-Niner as regulars with 4 more pumps that rotate. has an annual beer festival with many great ales and a large range of bottled Belgium beers.
Well worth a visit, probably the best beer in Worthing.

Arundel Castle, Darkstar Hophead & Golden Gate, Ringwood Fortyniner, Hampshire Lionheart, Gadds Dogbolter (later Ringwood Porter). Small horseshoe bar faces entrance, carpetted surround, wood tables, cushioned stools chairs & barstools. Plasma to left of bar showing racing ystdy, with commentary, but unintrusive. Dartboard far end of left ‘spur', real fire to rt not lit, but must provide a warm welcome when required. Pub has a real local chatty feel, with punters evidently knowing each other & sharing a laugh with the guv behind bar. Various old photos to front of pub, the rear rt could do with a freshen up, some decorative hops looking a bit sorry for themselves. Two beers went during our brief visit but both were immediately changed, maintining six on offer. The only negative was an odd odour which one of the group described as 'wet-dog'; well, my dogs don't smell like that!
