The Hornbrook Inn is a bit of a trek out from Horsham Town centre which explains why this is a dry led pub with a large car park. Outside the front are a couple of picnic tables and out the back is a lot more seating and a couple of jumbrellas. A dog bowl suggested that our canine friends are welcome.
Inside the pub’s entrance is some seating to the left and an L shaped bar that swings around to the right rear where there is more seating. A large chimney breast in the right hand side of the pub separates the bar from another seating area. Many of the tables throughout the pub were reserved for diners when I visited late on a recent Saturday afternoon and I noted the presence of high chairs for the nippers. There was no background music playing and I didn’t spot any televisions that would detract from the country pub feel.
The is a Hall and Woodhouse pub so it wasn’t surprising to see the hand pumps drawing Leaping Legend, First Call (x2) and Tanglefoot. A premium keg range was also available from the polite bar staff. The typical pub grub food was listed at reasonable prices.
I would take my family here for a bite to eat, but I wouldn’t walk down from Horsham again just for a beer.

I have to say that I don't remember much about this pub from it's K&B days.
Badger must think they have done something worthwhile with it as they have given it their Hall and Woodlouse branding.
It's outside of Horsham as the town sign is some way down the road.
An old Sussex beer guide mentions Public and Saloon bars but today it's one large room which by the look of it is more geared up for food rather than drinks. The beers were Sussex, Tanglefoot and Hopeful Hop. I had a pint of Tanglefoot (£3.60) which was in very good condition.
