Steve C left this review about The Stand Up Inn

The Stand Up Inn was heaving on the Saturday afternoon of the Platinum Jubilee, but it did quieten a little once the band that was set up in the front left corner had finished. There is a large island bar that supports at least seven handpumps that were drawing Sharp’s Doom Bar, Gun Breweries Scaramanga and Chummy Bluster, Longman’s Copper Hop and Firebird Brewery’s Pale Face alongside Rosies Pig Cloudy Cider and Rhubarb Cider from Westons. There is also a premium and craft keg selection. Food is available, the menu is predominantly Thai. All of the walls are adorned with interesting old prints and in the left rear is a dartboard. Out the back is a small enclosed beer garden. The staff were all very friendly and I thought that this was a decent pub.

Information update more than a review.
This pub is no longer run by the Dark Star Brewery. Apparently the owners gave Dark Star seven days notice that they would not be renewing the lease in April last year. It is now run by the Indigo Pub Company., a small Brighton based PubCo, presumably because they offered more money for the lease.
After a short period for a refurb it reopened in July last year as a pub and Thai restaurant.
It apparently now has seven handpumps and Dark Star brews are still available, but according to former locals reporting elsewhere the new Stand Up Inn is a bit of a desecration compared to the old..

This pub used to be called the Linden Tree before Dark Star brewery took over this pub and reinstated it's original name. There are two areas both with limited seating but the best bit is the superb range of ales together with a number of real ciders available. A not to be missed pub if in the area. It's even just about walkable from Haywards Heath station on a nice day but there are also buses to this very nice village.

Greeted by 9 handpumps, DarkStar Hophead, Best & Original, Oscar Wilde, 1648, something at 6.2%, plus 3 ciders including Black Rat.
The look is modern, slightly spartan, but there is a bar billiards table… or just stand by the bar near all that wonderful beer!
