Komakino . left this review about The Old House at Home

Cater-corner to the entrance to West Wittering beach, this has a lean towards the dining stakes albeit there is no discouragement towards those on a liquid-only diet. Due to Covid restrictions and potentially the way we were dressed after a day at the beach, we were only able to sit outside, so were only able to ascertain a clean, modernised, staple-shaped interior divided into two rooms by the front entrance. A square-shaped beer garden has the wonderful addition of five beach hut-style, erm, huts, each accessed via a couple of wooden steps that line the perimeter; each with their own heater should the weather be more inclement. A single ale in the form of Long Man Blonde (£4.40 a pint) was in good shape (a thirst-quenching Birra Moretti thereafter was £5.50 for the privilege). We decided to eat and despite a kitchen cock-up which necessitated a 50-minute wait for the food, but without recourse to complaint we were offered free desserts at their insistence. Be aware that if driving, you have to surrender your reg. no. at the bar once parked to avoid a hefty fine.
