Decked seating areas line both sides of the Waverley in its corner location on the seafront. Some of this seating is sheltered with a small bar that dispenses three keg products. This bar was unused during my recent visit on a very windy Saturday.
The interior is spacious and has the feel of a café, although none of the other three customers were dining. The large plasma screen was switched off and I do not recall any background music. This is a Young’s pub so it wasn’t surprising to find Special, Ordinary and London Gold alongside the Directors, which was off. A standard keg range was also available along with Peroni.
