Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Three Cups

This traditional local seems to have been given a new lease of life after a period of closure, and is now offering food again (albeit from quite a limited budget menu). Features a 'L'-shaped bar with a pool table and dartboard at the far end, and there is a second one to the left of the main entrance (but not obviously in regular use). No real ale, but the Banks's Original was just £2.00.

Nice to see it open, after my last visit in 2010 when it was boarded-up. This is a detached elongated cottage style pub, in undressed brick and cream render. It has a triple bay window arrangement. It has a large chimney stack as a feature on the front of the building with a moulded stone - the pub looks tidy. The interior has a couple of rooms but i only saw the main bar/lounge. This is an L-shaped room, around the bar. The room is in white and red, with a white ceiling and patterned carpet. The perimeter seating is new and tidy and accompanied by general tables and chairs. There is a pool table at one end and a couple of dart boards, though i am not sure how both could be played on while anyone was playing pool. There is a TV (footy on) and no music was playing. The walls have lots of old photos and alcohol based mirrors! The service was fine and there were a few friendly locals in. Beer; usual tap stuff, with Banks's MILD. No real ale. A nice cosmopolitan pub, which looks tidy - just nothing for a real ale drinker.
