Soup Dragon left this review about The Mount Tavern

This is a detached pub with patio areas. The pub is in a cream and brown colour scheme, and has large and smaller front facing gables, with a steep pitched roof. The interior has a single L-shaped room around the serving bar, dominated by a domed sky light. The decor is modern - cream, coffee, with walls of red and silver patterned wallpaper, with booth in a wierd mix of fabrics) and perimeter seating. There is a small fireplace and the arty lampshades can be set against the old local photos that are sparingly exhibited on the walls. The TV wasn't on and the music was a charty but at a softish level. The service was very good and the clientele small, but mixed. Beer; usual tap stuff with Peroni and hanpulls that had Brough Blonde, Sarah Hughes' Surprise and a decent Wye Valley HPA. Whilst this is a modern interior it isnt too much over the top and with decent beer and service, this place is certainly worth a pop in for one (or two).
