Real Ale Ray left this review about The Robin Hood

This Black Country Ales pub has recently been refurbished adding a further front room on the left hand side, plus a small extension at the rear. The walls were wallpapered from head to toe with a William Morris designed paper. The interior was also carpeted throughout and there was plenty of seating areas to choose from.
I went for the BFG which was top notch, the manageress was very upbeat and chatty. Well worth a visit this one.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Robin Hood

Very comfortable Black Country Inns pub; looking inside as if it once was a traditional village hostelry but now almost lost in a rather scrappy bit of suburbia. Retains a three-room layout, with the main bar at the front, a smaller lounge bar beyond and a further room on the car park side. All tidily furnished and decorated in a semi-traditional style. Total of 12 handpumps on the two counters, offering an excellent range of up to eight ales - including the Downton Honey Blonde (£3.20) - and three ciders. Well worth seeking out if in the area.

A lovely little white rendered extended cottage style pub, with porch and a garden area. It is a part of the Black Country Ales chain.

The interior is a single room that forms a U-shape around the central bar. At one end there is a dart board at the other a quieter area near partioned off by a central chimney feature. There are a couple of fireplaces with nice little fires. The decor is white walls and ceiling, with wall and ceiling beams and looks tidy. There are a few jugs and prints on the walls, a few maps in the far end and of course the usual BCA beer posters. There was no TV and soft music playing at later my visit, the pub quiz was on at my first. The service was fine, indeed the gaffer was keen that i was aware that the beer i had chosen was 'dark' and pointed out the beer board, with strengths and colour on it. The clientele seems mainly local and friendly; the quiz seemed good natured and i had a few hellos when it was quieter on my return. The pub serves bar snacks - jacket spuds and pies etc, but i haven't tried them so can't comment.

Beer; tap stuff with several handpulls; BFG, Fireside and Pig on the Wall MILD (fine) from the BCA and Malvern Hills Feel Good and Sozzled Santa (very good), Milestone Orange Wheatbeer, Saddler's Stumbling Badger, Clark's Kirk Douglas and Moreton's Irish George (very good).

A really good pub and i think you would be disappointed to miss it when in Willenhall. Like the other better pubs in Willenhall i have already returned and i hope to do so again

This pub has now been fully refurbished inside and out and boasts 10 handpulls, three of which serve black Country Ales Pig on the Wall BFG and Fireside. I'm no fan of Black Country Ales (I'd go as far as saying they're pretty disgusting!) but thankfully there are another 7 beers to choose from. The pub now does food all day

This pub, which has a board on the outside about being Camra local pub of the year in 1990 and 1991, is out of the way and has suffered from being situated in an area of demolition and road schemes and forgotten about.

Hopefully it will survive, its comfortable inside, not large, two rooms surrounding a central bar, the front lounge has a darts board and a few of those 1980's small tables with tree edges. Its nice enough but quiet on a Friday afternoon.

Friendly and well kept, the beer was nice - Hopback Summer Lightning, again well kept. Its worth a punt if you are passing through Willenhall & like your beer.
