Soup Dragon left this review about The Village Inn

A large detached modern brick build with beer patio

The interior had a large lounge, but i went into the smaller bar. The decor is brick, with a few items of beer memorabilia and old signs on the walls. There was a TV and dart board - with, it seemed, the facility to show matches on a large screen tv. The floor was chessboard style squares, with red perimeter seating and all in all, the placed looked tidy. Service was good and the clientele few.

beer; all tap stuff, no real ale as such, but there was Banks's MILD Cask on electronic pump and it was very good.

This maybe a modern place, but it wasn't done out in the current modern vogue - i enjoyed it here - it justs lacks real ale. Worth a visit.
