A detached 1930s looking undressed brick Banks's pub, with rear beer garden in which there is kiddies play stuff.

The interior had two rooms, though one was in the dark and i still haven't got to see it. The bar room is an open plan L-shaped room around the small bar, with a dart board and a pool table. The decor is white walls and white artex ceiling, with fake beam look. There is a red carpet. The was nothing really in the way of ornaments, but a few pictures, all with an England theme (1966, Churchill etc) on the walls. There is a couple of brick fireplaces, one with a stove inside. There is a TV, with Sky Sports News. The seating is red leather perimeter seating. Service was fine and the clientele small, but mixed.

Beer; all the usual keg taps with Banks's Bitter and decent Banks's MILD cask on electronic pump.

A pub that I would visit again, i always feel that i have caught it at the best time for me personally, but with the cask MILD it is better than a basic pub.
