UPDATE: Gone for good, now a Nisa supermarket.
*****************
FEB 2011: A large, white painted brick, detached Victorian pub, with a beer patio in the car park area.

The interior has two rooms. The main bar room is an L-shape and in yellow and a toffee coloured wood panel, with white ceiling, along with a red and blue chessboard floor and has a pool table at one end and a dart board at the other. There is also a TV, which had the footy on. There was no music, but there is a jukebox. There is a lounge at the back, which is in red and white, with a dart board and a larger screen TV, though this wasn't on at my visit. There aren't any real pictures to speak of, but the place has just been taken over. The service is friendly and the clientele a few regulars.

Beer; no real ale, all keg, with a Banks's MILD, which was fine.

The sad thing is there is nothing for the real ale fan here - neither of the two handpulls have any on (i have never known the place to serve it too be honest). If they got it on, i would pop back more often.
