Realy good traditional pub that caters well for families. The beer garden is nice and they always have a bonfire and fireworks on the 5th. The locals are friendly and the service is spot on.

I can only echo much of what Soup D has said. It's up a back street in the Chuckery area of Walsall and therefore was packed with regulars. We couldn't budge in the lounge so we sat in the bar and watched the footy on a flat screen TV while some of my mates played pool.

The beer was all tap stuff but the Indian food menu was decent and cheap (£3.50 to £4) with a huge plate of chips for £1. It filled a gap with something other than liquid.

The clientele was varied from couples with young kids to whites and asians in mixed groups. It's a community place and we didn't feel unwelcome but, like Soup says, it's a shame there's no cask ale.

This is a large pub, with a fantastic Victorian exterior and tidy interior with a couple of large rooms, pool tables and Sky TV.

It's a friendly, mixed race pub and have always enjoyed popping in.
The beer is very limited to the usual stuff and Banks's MILD smooth, which although decent enough, means with better choices elsewhere, i do not go in much. Its the lack of choice which lowers the score, not the place.
