Soup Dragon left this review about The Red Lion

Small little brick built terraced pub, with small beer patio, mostly refurbished recently, so you can still smell a bit of paint.

The interior has two rooms. The lounge is in white and red, featureless, apart from a little fireplace. The bar is in white and light brown, with wood floor, a pool table, and a few Sky TVs. It was also pretty bare, in need of a few pictures or something. The service was OK, the clientele more maturer.

The beer was all tap stuff, with a decent enough Banks's MILD, however, when i walked through to the bar there was also a handpull for Pedigree.

It was a happy enough little place, just needed a little decoration and another beer on handpull, i would go again though
