Soup Dragon left this review about Gabba's Bar

A large detached mock Tudor, half brick, half stone pub, with patio, known for a century as The Four Horseshoes.

The interior now seems to comprise of an Indian resturant and a lounge room, with beer taps - so half and half. There is a reasonable choice of food, though sadly i didn't get time to eat. The lounge is in pink and wood panel, with some old photos and bits of ephemera. There was Sky TV with the darts on. The service was friendly and the clientele mixed - though there was a sign, of which i was supportive, saying 'this is a family place, watch your language'.

Beer; all tap sadly, there was Banks's MILD, decent enough and a Theakston's MILD tap (not on), otherwise it was general stuff.

I think this would be a popular enough place, it just doesn't do the real ale, so i wouldn't really visit again.
