Now selling one real ale, and was very good on my recent visit. Well worth another try.

A detached pub, a bit like a Swiss cottage, with wood and white painted brick exterior and beer patio

The interior is open plan around a central bar area, with yellow/red walls. There is an eclectic mix of chairs, ranging from stools to Queen Anne style! and pictures (some on the ceiling) ranging from sporty stuff to the old photos. There are mirrors and other ornaments - the ceiling is a nicotine stain colour. There are darts and pool, with music supplied by the radio. Service was fine, though it was empty.

Beer; all tap stuff, no real ale, but they did have several lagers, bitters and of course, Banks's and Chestnut MILD - the Chestnut was fine.

The place, despite no real ale, is playful in its appearance - it grew on me and i would like to go back
