Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Queens

Traditional-looking pub in the centre of Pelsall village, although the partially opened-out interior has been refurbished in a semi-modern style. There are various seating areas around what is effectively now an island bar; plainly furnished apart from a more traditional small lounge in one back corner. Plenty of room for events in the other, much larger area behind the counter. With a good number of regulars in, there was quite a boisterous (but friendly) atmosphere. Just Hobgoblin (£2.80) available from a pair of handpumps, but that was in good enough shape.

Very busy locals pub. We were made to feel very welcome by the gaffer and the locals. I had a pint of Hobgoblin which was fine. All in all a decent pub and good to see it well used. I would pop in again.

Well I finally did return, after it had been raided and closed for a while. It is a detached elongated cottage-styled pub, in cream render, with a beer garden

The pub has a few rooms, served by a central bar. An L-shape bar/lounge, with taped-up ripped seats. It was in white generally and cream wood panel, with a fireplace and ended in a pool table area, in green wood panel and patterned yellowy wallpaper, with a small sofa annex in part wood panel, with a green and yellow chessboard floor. There is a bar room also at the back, which was all dark when I visited last. It was in yellow, some green wood panel, with white ceiling and had a chessboard floor and had a punch-bag machine, large screen TV and dart board. The service was ok, no other clientele and there was no music.

Beer; tap stuff with an OK Hobgoblin on handpull.

A basic pub, but certainly improved from my last visit – still, not much for the real ale fan, so one for the locals I think.

Oh! God, no, you simply don't go to this place.

Names etched in the windows, ripped seats, posters up saying anymore vandalism will result in prosecution; it was like From Dusk Till Dawn the way they looked at me when i walked in. Half a Mansfield Smooth later, i left, like Lot leaving Sodom, which ironically is what i thought.
