Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Horseley Tavern

Traditional, cottage-style community pub with small bay-windowed rooms on either side of the central entrance lobby. The compact L-shaped bar can then be found up a few steps, with a dartboard at the back. Given a simple but effective refurbishment at some stage. Didn't spot it initially, but Butty Bach (£3.50) was available from one of the two handpumps on different parts of the counter.

Soup Dragon left this review about The Horseley Tavern

This is an end-terraced Banks's pub. Originally known as the Horseley Heath Tavern, it is a classic cottage-styled pub, with a central entrance flanked by two bay windows. The pub is in cream, with some black paintwork - especially the column pilasters on the entrance. The interior is an open plan room on two levels - and looks quite traditional (although i believe it isn't). There is a snug type area to the left on entry, which is in brick and patterned wallpaper, with a brick fireplace and grate, as well as red bench seats. The snug area to the right is in green and brick, with another brick fireplace and has some old pots in. Up the steps, you will find the serving bar and the bar room, which is in white and wood, with red bench seats and a brick fireplace with what seems like a Victorian kitchen range in. There is a dart board and a TV showing footy. A few old adverts are on the walls. The service was friendly and a few locals were in. There was no music. Beer; no real ale, with the usual tap stuff, including an M&B MILD. I just had a shandy. A nice enough pub, even if the interior is contrived - sadly, they don't sell real ale. Happy i nipped in, mind.
