Nice looking pub, probably the pick of the bunch along this road. Popular with diners as you would expect but with plenty just having a drink. A couple of ales on but I cannot remember what they were! I do know that I had a decent pint - whatever it was! Worth popping in.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The White Horse

Vintage Inn located just outside the village centre on the main A4097 Kingsbury Road and close by the Birmingham and Fazeley Canal. Comprising an amalgam of buildings of differing ages, the bar area retains a fair amount of character despite being partly opened-out, although some of the dining areas less so. There is also a beer garden to one side that catches the early evening sun nicely. Doom Bar, Purity Pure UBU, Sadler's Worcester Sorcerer (£4.10) and Rosie's Pig cider available from four of the five handpumps.

A vintage inn, a chain of pubs I like. This one isn't quite so comfortable and quaint as others, but still provides a nice relaxing pub. Shame the main road is a bit busy. Large inside, but no real hidden areas as you sometimes get.

The beer quality here is above the normal quality for this chain, very pleasant.

All round nice place.

A Vintage Inn that is not dominated by the food offering ,and locals use the area close to the bar as a spot for drinking.Well kept real ale with an upcoming beer festival advertised reinforces the point.A mainly female crew are very friendly and welcoming .A short walk from the canal towpath, this pub has all the elements necessary for a decent overnight stop but would be equally suitable for a quick drink and I would use it again when in the area.In my opinion the best pub in the Minworth/Curdworth area despite the noisy road that runs down one side.

An accurate review by Mr Dragon below of a decent quality but fairly standard Vintage Inn which does have the advantage of a distinct drinking area seperate from the dining tables.
Our visit coincided with Wimbledon which was being shown, without sound, throughout the tournament according to a blackboard. Also offered were strawberries and cream, jugs of Pimms etc. so a fair effort being made.
Three beers on: Doom Bar, Tiger and a quality pint of Purity UBU all dispensed with humour and a smile by a friendly barmaid.
A very safe bet for a decent pint and I'd happily return.

This is a large white rendered Vintage Inn chain pub/eatery with patio area.

The interior is open plan and runs the length of the pub and is on two levels. Most of the place is given over to dining, however, and refreshingly, the areas to the right as you enter the pub are loungey and not for food service - i even saw a bar stool! The decor is a mix of colours, chocolate wood panel, coffee, cream, red, salmon and undressed brick. There are several fireplace features, particularly in the loungey bits and the usual Vintage Inn eclectic ephemera and pictures applies here as well, with everything from old photos of the area to lamps and jugs being on display. Lighted candles also feature, but thankfully, they are not near the bits of decorative chopped wood. There is a collection of beer mat/pump clips behind the bar. The service was fine, the clientele mixed and it was well attended, there was no music, or TV. I didn't eat so can't comment on the food.

Beer; tap stuff with Staropramen and on handpull, Purity, Everards Sunchaser and a decent enough Bass.

Another place i have not been to for 20 odd years. A better example of a Vintage Inn, as it had a clear drinking area. I would happily return here - the Vintage chain are at least a chain where i can wander around looking at pictures etc, as i have a drink. The chopped wood is less exciting.
