Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Britannia Inn

Two-bar sports pub that looks modernised from the road but with very traditional furniture and decoration inside. Also has a side pool / table football room as well as the dartboard in one bar and a smattering of TVs in all parts. Pub grub available at lunchtimes only. Covered rear patio smoking area. Just Landlord (£3.65) from three handpumps divided between the two counters, but this was in fine form.

Soup Dragon left this review about The Britannia Inn

This is a detached Victorian looking pub with patio area - well, in fact it is a sport's bar, although it looks traditional enough from the outside. It is in white render with black paintwork and looks like two cottages, with central entrances and flanked by bay windows, place side by side. There is a low-level extension.

The interior is a U-shaped room around the bar, looping from entrance to entrance, with a side annex. The main room is in white artex walls and ceiling with fake beam look. There is a patterned carpet. The annex has a wood floor and is in white and coffee wood panel with a white ceiling. There were lots of TVs showing the footy and the walls were plastered with footy photos, shirts and other memorabilia, some signed by ex-players from the Baggies, Villa, Wolves and Manchester United, to name some. There was no music at my visit and the place was rammed, as it was match-time, in fact, we had to go in the annex. The service was fine when we got it and they did food, but we didn't eat, so can't comment on that.

Beer; usual tap stuff with Greene King IPA, Everard's Tiger and a decent Enville Ale on the handpulls.

The place seems to be good at what it does, after all it was very busy. Whilst it took a while to be served, the beer was decent and different.
