Blue Scrumpy left this review about Bull's Head

The Bull's Head is a Thwaites pub in a rural setting and with a fundamental focus on food, not really what I would expect of a Thwaites pub.

Nevertheless, it's obviously extremely popular with the locals, with an overflowing car park and outdoor tables to the front of the pub in very high demand amongst both diners and drinkers.

The pub was awash with staff, which indicates that the number of customers was not unexpected. The interior was modern, was light and airy and featured plenty of wood.

The 4 Thwaites beers on were Original, Amber, Gold & IPA. I wasn't particularly fond of their Gold, having enjoyed the IPA much more earlier in the day.

Nice location and possibly a good choice for a spot of food. As a drinkers' pub, it's less attractive.

Thuck Phat left this review about Bull's Head

A large and imposing village gastropub with a modern interior split between a smaller bar area and larger dining sections.
We came to eat and the food was fine without being spectacular in terms of either quality or value. Service though was excellent and friendly.
Very much in the Marstons stable there were three beers from Thwaites on: Wainwright, Lancaster Bomber and Original with Froth Blowers Barking Mad as a guest. The latter in decent enough and slid down well.

Bucking Fastard left this review about Bull's Head

A pleasing old building, but most firmly in the gastro pub mould, the interior has the bar immediately infront and a wait to be seated dining area to the left. The area around the bar and in a section to the right is fine just for drinking and this is used by locals as a boozer .There is a young serving crew and the welcome was friendly, while the purpose of our visit was to eat and we were not disappointed by the food quality ,although pricing is premium with most mains starting at £15 .Outside there is a paved seating area with good looking furniture and as the road outside is little used, would be fine for exterior drinking too.
Real ale is available from 4 handpumps and my Frothblowers Bar-King Mad seemed the best option and was in good condition.
Delivered what you would expect from a country dining pub, although it is a bit of a walk from the canal which skirts the hamlet in which it is situated.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Bull's Head

Upmarket country dining pub, with the original building dating from 18th-century when the nearby Stratford-upon-Avon Canal was being constructed, but comprehensively extended and refurbished in recent years. Tastefully furnished and decorated throughout the 'L'-shaped arrangement of seating and dining areas, albeit with a corresponding loss of character (despite what the board outside claims...). Also has front and side patio beer gardens. As a barely branded Thwaites house, Lancaster Bomber, Wainwright and Hop & Glory (£3.70) were three of the four real ales available on handpump, with Barking Mad from Froth Blowers as a guest.

Gill Smith left this review about The Bulls Head

This is a Thwaites pub in the Country Pub and Kitchen chain. Car park and outside seating area leads into a large room. Seating for diners and drinkers, and a choice of 4 real ales, 2 from Thwaites being regular ales, Lancaster Bomber and Wainwrights. Guests today were Ringwood Razor Back and Backyard Blonde. Our Ringwood beer was fine.

Danny O'Revey left this review about The Bulls Head

Ultra-trendy country dining pub, refurbished, modern and catering for upmarket diners after a pub experience. Opened up into one space though devided by pillars in areas, there is a bar area to the right as you walk in where you can happily just have a drink, and a long seating area to the left for diners.

There is background jazzy music that just appeared to be one continuous track.

This will not be everybodies cup of tea but I found it pleasant and relaxed. The clientelle is both new rich and old rich if you know what I mean.

They had 8 real ales, although these all appeared to be from Thwaites so I presume it has some sort of tie here. The beer was nice.
