My Great Great Grandfather owned this pub around late 1800's. I'm amazed it's still there. His name was Thomas Fantham.

Soup Dragon left this review about The Old Corner House

This is now a detached pub, but was, in the tail end of the Victorian period more terraced. The pub was then called The White Horse (and was until at least the late 1950s) and had Soho station behind it. It takes its current name from the fact that the pub actually turns with the corner of the road. The pub is in Georgian style and is white rendered with black paintwork. It has upper and lower sash-styled windows, with pilasters. The interior now has a singular irregular shaped room - half the pub appearing closed off. It is in white, with gold bench seating and there is a tiled fireplace. There is a pool table. The service was friendly and there were a few in. The TV wasn't on and the music was Reggae and being was a bit loud. Beer; there were four keg taps, but none were on - they simply sold cans and bottles, it seemed. I had half a shandy, and they were going to give me the rest of the can - as it was Carling, i politely refused. This is no longer a pub in the true sense of the word, as far as i am concerned; it is more like having a few tinnies with mates at a house party.
