Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Market Hall Tavern

Not what one might expect from the name these days if you picture a micro-pub in an indoor unit, but a solid little small-town Marston's boozer (although Kingswinford still likes to think of itself as a village of course...). Anyway, the original rooms - with a bow window on each side of the central entrance doorway - have been opened out into a L-shaped layout with mostly light paintwork. Dartboard and pool table at the far end. Just Banks's Amber (£3.35) available from the bank of three handpumps on both sections of the counter.

Lovely litte pub in the centre of the village with a very good range of lagers, ciders and spirits. Lots of choice available in bottled ales . Locals are really friendly and make you feel welcome within minutes of walking through the door. There is also a patio area and covered smoking shelter to the rear of the pub. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Jukebox, pool table and dart board are an excellent addition

Decent pub with good range of lagers and ciders, but sadly only one handpull that I could see. Friendly staff and a brilliant jukebox, usually a good few customers in.

Pretty standard locals pub which was quite busy when I popped in. Had a quick Coors and moved on.

Another Banks's cottage style pub, with patio area. It takes its name from the market hall that once stood opposite (later a cinema, now demolished - a Boots is on the site). This Victorian/Edwardian pub has three upper sash style windows and two lower bays, one either side the central entrance. It is a mix of plain and cream painted brick, with some black and white paintwork and a canopy over the entrance. The interior is now one L-shaped room, in red and grey at the front and cream and brown at the back, where there is a pool table and dart board. There is a brick fireplace. Several TVs are dotted about with Sky Sports and the horse racing on (indeed, you can write your bet out in the pub and pop to the bookies after). There is a pull down screen (not in use) and there was no music. There are a few mirrors, birsto style pictures on the walls and there is a mix of red bench and comfy seating. The service was fine and the place busy enough with locals. I think they have live bands on as well. Beer; usual tap stuff with Peroni, with Sunbeam (just went), Banks's Bitter and MILD (ok) on handpull. A run-of-the-mill locals pub that has the games, sport and real ale. Could do far worse!
