Real Ale Ray left this review about The Cross Inn (J D Wetherspoon)

Plenty of room in this Spoons both inside and out. The interior was quite plush and had lots of different seating areas positioned around a U shaped lounge, which led to the rear bar area. Two banks of six pumps with nothing outlandish apart from Gadds No.3 and Saltaire New World, being the beers of choice on our visit.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Cross Inn (J D Wetherspoon)

Located in a prominent position on the main crossroads, this traditional pub building has been recently converted and extended by Wetherspoon. All much as you would expect inside the various seating / dining areas, but with enough partitions to avoid too cavernous a feel. Also has a sizeable patio beer garden to one side. Six real ales available from the two banks of duplicated handpumps, Banks's Mild and two local Enville beers - White (£1.99) and Ginger - available in addition to the usual trio of Ruddles, Doom Bar and Abbot.

Glad to say that the Cross is now up and running. It has been opened out inside and the bar has been moved to maximise space. There is a lot of outside seating. I didn't look around much due to the current Covid rules but I did notice some of the beers on offer - Enville ale, Exmoor Gold, Bombardier and Simpkiss Bitter. I went for the latter and it was fine. Worth a visit if you are nearby.

There is a planning application lodged by Wetherspoons to carry out alterations to the Cross so it looks like it will be a Spoon's.

Soup Dragon left this review about Arizona Crossing

An iconic Georgian pub, situated at the heart of Kingswinford. Formerly the Cross Hotel, someone decided that this name was no longer good enough for theis Grade II listed building, so the Arizona bit was added for some reason - with epithet of 'pub and dining'. The place is in cream render with yellow around the windows. The bowling green has long gone, as has the crenelated porch. Anyhow - the inside has been ripped out - it now has an open room, all around the serving bar. One side serves food - this was in darkness at our visit. The other is more the bar and is in cream and red. There is a fireplace, with an old kitchen range fire. The TVs had the footy on and there was no music. There were the odd picture and mirror to cheer the spartan walls. The service was fine and the clientele a bizarre mix between mature men watching the footy and young girls with ever increasing diameters to their hooped earrings. Beer; no real ale, no MILD, so had Guinness. Simply a waste of time.
