Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Cottage Inn

Although now buried in suburbia, the name is still reasonably apposite because it could be mistaken for an old-fashioned village inn. Refurbished yet still traditional within the staple-shaped interior, with a mix of people eating or just having a drink. Four real ales on handpump: Tribute, Wye Valley Butty Bach, Pale Rider from Kelham Island and Batham's Bitter.

A decent little pub with 3 ales on when I called. Wye Valley Butty Bach, Enville Ale and Tribute. The Butty Bach was fine. Worth popping in.

I can totally agree with Soup Dragon's review, it's a strange place. Good beer though, 4 handpulls with permanent Tribute and Enville bitter and two guest beers. Sadly the Abbott had finished, but the Exmoor Stag was on top form and Bombardier had been pulled through by the time I left.
Well worth a visit, shame about the tiny car park.

A strange pub this, as in that it looks like a rebuild of an erlier Victorian pub on the same site, but to what extent isnt clear. The building is in what looks like modern undressed brick with a central stone porch, flanked by large windows. There are dormers aboove, with wood panelled gables. There is a rear patio area. The interior is now a sort of U-shape around the serving bar. The majority of the pub is in red flower wallpaper, or green flowery wallpaper, with a patterned carpet and a white ceiling. Old photos are on the walls and plates and ornaments are dotted about or in cabinets. They do food here, and we had a bite, which was fine for a fiver. The service was fine and a few locals were in - and a mix of eating and watching Murry win the tennis. The music was soft and general. Beer; usual tap stuff with St Austell Tribute, Rev James, Black Hole Milky Way and a decent Enville Ale on handpull. A nice place, traditional with a good beer choice. Definitely worth a visit.
