A detached 1960s styled pub and Indian restaurant in a small 60s shopping precinct. The place is in white painted brick, having been refurbished when converted from a straight pub and looks a little more inviting than when it was in exposed brick. It has a beer garden.

The interior has three rooms. The games room is upstairs and I didn’t see it. On the ground level, with separate entrances and a connecting corridor there are the bar and the old lounge, which is now the restaurant. The bar is a square room, in a split wall brown and cream, with a white ceiling and a laminated wood floor. There is little in the way of pictures leaving the place a bit bare, but there was a TV with the footy on and no background music. The service was fine and the clientele just a couple of locals. The restaurant is in white mainly with fake beams on the walls in a coffee colour. The ceiling is white and there is a wood floor. The room has lots of tables with smart looking brown high backed chairs. There is also a TV here which had the footy on. A couple of people were eating. I didn’t so can’t comment on the food, but the menu looks good and the prices decent.

Beer; no real ale all the usual keg, with a decent enough M&B MILD.

The bar is basic, but the restaurant looks a little more inviting. If I returned here it would be to eat.

Oh boy! If I must recommend something about it I will. It has a reasonable car park, shops near by & a goodish Fish & Chip amongst the shops. It also has a door which I'd personally not enter.
