Great little locals pub with a choice of 6 beers. Packed on my early evening visit and it is easy to see why. Bathams bitter, Pardoes Netherton Pale ale, Holdens Golden and Sunbeam amongst the beers on offer. The Bathams had just gone so I went for the Netherton pale ale which was excellent. As I was leaving Wye Valley HPA was going on.
A real gem this one and well worth a visit.

Really enjoyed my visit to this pub yesterday. Different rooms, clean and tidy, and a good choice of ales including Sarah Hughes Ruby Mild. We chose Holdens Paradise City and Monty's Mischief and enjoyed both. Beer garden at the back and a smoking area. Community pub and we were welcome as strangers there.

A white rendered detached cottage styled Banks's pub

The interior had two separate rooms and i did not see the bar, but the footy was on in there. The lounge was in white and a bamboo colour (something like that anyhow) with a few beams and brick. There is a Victorian stovey kind of feature and a number of general pictures and prints. It serves sandwiches and basic food. The service itself was fine but we didnt see any other clientele.

Beer; no real ale, all tap stuff with Banks's biteer and an OK Banks's MILD.

With so many good pubs and real ales, there seems little point in going here, not that there was anything wrong with the place.
