Soup Dragon left this review about The Good Intent

A large detached white rendered pub, with green paintwork and small patio

The interior had two rooms. We sat in the lounge i think, which was in white and wood panel, with sofa, comfy chait, art pictures and so forth. There was a pool table in the other, larger room. The music was a decent level, there was Sky TV and the service was very friendly - mainly as the chap behind the bar was taking his own place on in Chasetown (The Swan). There wasn't any other real clientele.

Beer; all tap stuff, with no MILD or real ale. We had Younger's bitter as it was a bit different to the JS/Worthy lot.

Basic drinks - nothing really to encourage me back

Alan Winfield left this review about The Good Intent

The Good Intent is in the upper gornal area of Dudley and i thought this looked a decent pub from the outside.
Once inside there were a couple of rooms and i went in a lounge that was fairly comfortable, there were no real ales on the bar and the only beers were Banks's bitter and mild both keg i had a drink of the mild which was drinkable but nothing special.
