Soup Dragon left this review about The White Horse Inn

This is an end-terrace pub with rear patio area and bowling green. It is a Victorian cottage-styled pub, as in it has a couple of upper windows and two lower bay windows flanking the central door. It is in white render, with black paintwork and etched windows. The interior has two rooms served by a central island serving bar. Off to the left there is the bar and the lounge to the right. The lounge is in a cream wallpaper, the bar (where we sat) is in a light green and wood panel, with red tile floor, and with blue leather bench seating. There is a dartboard and a TV (not on). The walls have 19th century kind of 'Punch' cartoons on the walls. Service was very good, and there was no other clientele on this visit. The music was via the jukebox, mixed and at a decent level. Beer; tap stuff with an excellent Banks's DARK MILD. On handpull, there was Banks's MILD, but I believe this will be changed to another in the Banks's group. It looks like a run-of-the-mill place - but it always turns out to be a great start to the day. It has the dark MILD along with a traditional environment. Class.
