Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Three Crowns
Traditional town-centre pub with the expected bunch of regulars in the front bar early on a Tuesday evening (although the signage suggests that it is currently closing at 19:00 daily). The wedge-shaped rear room (with its interesting fireplace) was quieter. Sadly, no draught real ales are being stocked at the moment, although the landlord insisted that they would be as the days draw in, and a few bottled versions were available. I made do with a Banks's Original (£2.60), with the Amber being one of the other keg beers, before heading onwards.

Always a few locals in and still selling real ale. Holden's Golden and Enville ale on for my last visit. The Holden's was in good shape. Worth a visit.

This is a terraced pub, with rear patio area. It was closed at my last visit. It looks Victorian, being in plain brick. It has lancet and brick mullioned windows on the upper storey and larger, etched windows between brick pilasters on the lower. There are two side entrances. The interior has two rooms (although open plan) that form an L-shape. The back room is a quiet room, with one old chap reading a newspaper. It is in white and red wallpaper, with red ceiling and a grey tile floor. There is a small fireplace and bistro art. There are books and bottles, giving the traditional look, with bench and covered seats. The front room is in the same decor, with a brick hearth feature (burner fire). Sport and general pictures are on the walls. The TV had the sport on and the music was quiet and mixed. The service was fine and the clientele mature locals. A Banks's pub, which doesn't do food, other than cobs. Beer; usual tap stuff with Banks's MILD - on handpull there were Sunbeam, Old Thumper, Hobgoblin and Cock-a-Hoop - the last two being fine. A pleasant stop-off with decent beer. I would definitely call again.

The Three Crowns ( known locally as Warwicks ) has re-opened. It has a large sign advertising real ales. I will pop in soon!
