The Queens Head was a corner pub that was in the Pensnett area, this was one of four pubs that were situated on commonside, all now gone for good.
Once inside the pub had a lounge, which i did not look in,i had a drink in the bar which was oblong in shape, the seating was normal tables and chairs and the floor was lino type.
The pub was a Banks's tied house, there were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Banks's bitter which was a decent drink, the other beer was Banks's mild.
I had a chat with the landlord and the few locals who were in on my Friday dinner visit, when i told them about my pub crawling hobby and how i took photo's of pubs, they came out to pose for the photo.
I was quite happy drinking in this pub, such a shame that it has now gone for good.
