Soup Dragon left this review about Brockmoor House

This is a detached Black Country Ales chain pub, with patio area. It is a 60/70s replacement for a Victorian pub (at least) of the same name that had stood over the road. It is a typical product of the day, with a brick and stoneclad 'house' with a low-level extension. The interior has an L-shaped room, as well as a function room. The main room has a dart board and pool table, along with a couple of TV's that were showing darts. There is a brick fireplace with a burner fire. There was no music. The decor is cream walls, with a patterned red carpet. There is a bit of arty art on the walls. The seating comprises of green leather benches. Overall, it is quite tidy. The service was fine and the clientele comprised of locals. Beer; usual tap stuff with two handpulls - one being cleaned, the other with a decent enough BFG on. A far better experience than i expected - i would pop in again, for a swifty.
