Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Village Green

Substantial Greene King pub with a Flaming Grill menu. Difficult to tell what it might have been like inside originally because it has been partly opened-out and given a comprehensive makeover with modern furniture and light decor throughout the various seating / dining areas. Also has a pool table and a side patio area (although this is currently mostly devoid of benches). Just Abbot (£3.10, less 10% Camra discount) from the four handpumps, but that was thankfully in good condition.

This Greene King pub / Flaming Grill is listed as one of the 11 pubs to visit on the 11 bus route pub crawl, but when we went yesterday it was full of workmen, we were told that it was in the process of a refurb and was due to reopen again today.
