Soup Dragon left this review about Snackers

This is a terraced pub, formerly called The Eagle Tavern, spread over what appears to be two former Victorian terraced houses. The upper storeys are in brick, the lower storeys are in black and white, with pilasters and a bay window, perhaps giving so pedigree to the building, as i am not sure when these houses were turned into a pub/beerhouse. The interior had a couple of rooms, the back lounge i didn't see it, but it did have a pool table. The front bar is small, and an L-shape. It is in cream and green, with a wood floor. It has Blues stuff all over the walls and a TV, which was showing the horse racing at my visit. It is basic, with bench seats and stools, but there is a dart board. The service was fine and it is very much a locals place - quite busy too. Beer; usual tap stuff - the Banks's MILD wasn't on, so i had half of keg Boddingtons. A pub that retains its old rooms - pity that there was nothing really on that i wanted to drink. A good spit 'n' sawdust locals place.
