A nice detached corner cottage-styled pub in white render, with beer garden at the back.

The central front entrance gives access to the bar on the left, or the lounge on the right. The bar is a square room, in cream and wood panel, with white ceiling and green carpet. There is a dart board in here and a TV that was showing Wimbledon. Local photos adorn the walls and there is a fireplace - there was no music. The lounge is in cream, red and a little wood panel, with cream ceiling. There are a couple of tile fireplaces in here and lots of ornaments, as well as beer mats all over the walls and bar. Also, local photos. The TV wasn't on. There seems to be an Irish influence, with a couple of small flags. The service was ok and the clientele mixed, though quietish on both recent visits.

Beer; usual keg stuff, with Spekky Hen and no MILD. GK IPA was the only thing on handpull. The Hen was ok.

Sadly, with all the beer mats around it seemed that once this place sold a few real ales - now, alas, just GK IPA and Hen on keg. A nice enough place, just a disappointing beer choice, after the previou comments left on here.

Very friendly pub, got a cosy feel to it.Same couple have owned the pub for many years and do it very well.
They have 2 or 3 guest beers on tap along with the usual beers you would expect to find.
Also has a beer garden at the rear.
