Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The White Hart

Now a free house, but not having been here before it's difficult to tell what has changed from the Black Country Ales days apart from the exterior signage. Anyway, the squarish bar has been refurbished at some stage, with a bit of space for live music in one corner and the dartboard in another. There is also another room at the back (closed off for a pool competition when I visited). With one sadly disused handpump on the counter, the keg Banks's Mild (£2.50) seemed the best bet.

A major disappointment. I like Black Country Ales pubs but not this one! No ale at all - according to the barman "it doesn't sell around here". A case of supply and demand I suppose. The pub is up for sale so it looks like BCA have given up. The pub itself is a decent place but as to the future - who knows?

A small detached Black Country Ales pub, with rear beer patio. Not the most interesting of exteriors, it looks a little like a 1950s square-box, in white render and undressed brick.

The interior has a couple of rooms. You walk into the bar room from the front entrance. This is an open plan L-shaped room supported by a central post. The room is in green and white split wall, with white ceiling. A few landscapey/tree pictures were on the walls. There are a couple of dart boards and a TV, which wasn't on as there was a singer performing when we arrived. The lounge is at the rear. It is in red and white walls, with a white ceiling and is carpeted. There are a few tables and some bistro styled pictures are on the walls. Again, there is a dart board and a TV, which wasn't on. The only music in here was from the main room. The service was fine and there was a busy mixed crowd.

Beer; usual tap stuff with Banks's MILD. There were three handpulls, two of which were not working, so no BCA beers were on. The guest was a decent Saddler's Mud City Stout.

A good community pub, with a lively crowd. It was a shame there was no BCA beer on here, but i would return here, no problem.
