A detached and large white painted brick pub. Interesting design, modern with a curved front, it wouldn't look out of place in a Poirot episode

The interior is divided into two areas. The former lounge, which had its own entrance, is now a café, so I didn’t go in there. The bar is large, with a wood floor. The décor is in white, red and that French mustardy colour, with pretty much bare walls, so no real pictures or other ephemera. There was both pool and darts available and also a TV, sadly knocking out Eastenders at my visit. The service was fine, the clientele small and mainly younger lads on the pool table.

Beer; all tap stuff, with an OK Banks’s MILD.

A basic kind of place really, with nothing for the real ale drinker. The design of the pub is the most interesting thing about it.
