Steve C left this review about The Kings Head

The Kings Head is a pub and B&B with a reception and dining room to the left and bar area to the right. Across the two bars are five hand pumps, TT Landlord and Purity’s Mad Goose were available during a recent Sunday afternoon visit. Limited keg of Carling, Birra Moretti, Strongbow and Thatcher’s cider were also available. There were three customers in the bar area watching Premier League football via Sky Sports, they seemed familiar with the barman so I assumed they were locals rather than B&B guests. The three pubs along this stretch aren’t really up to much so I think I’ll give this area the swerve when next in Warwick.

Bucking Fastard left this review about The Kings Head

Managed to sneak in here just before the November lockdown, having been unable to get into the fully booked Cape of Good Hope. There are two distinct rooms off the front door, left into a tapas restaurant, right into a wooden floored public bar with a BT Sports screen at the far end. There is an attractive inglenook with a brick fireplace supporting a real fire, traditional furniture and the Spanish theme is carried on by the sound track although this got drowned out when the footie came on.
The small bar has three handpumps, with two on in TT Landlord (decent NBSS 3.5 £3.50pp) and Slaughterhouse Saddleback Best (£1.95) but these prices were to clear the cellar and may not be typical.
Lively when the footie is on ,but a mixed crowd in the public including women only groups .You can eat in the public if you choose while the restaurant was also popular with female groups.
The local CAMRA branch have not surveyed this pub since 2013 and may be pleasantly surprised if they did .A decent, friendly pub.

Soup Dragon left this review about The Kings Head

An end terrace Georgian style brick build with ashlar cornerstones and red paintwork.

The interior had two rooms; the music room adorned with musical instruments and painted musical notes, and the tapestry room, adorned with, yes, you guessed it, tapestries. The decor for both rooms was yellow and wood beams, with a wood floor and the tapestry room also had a brick fireplace. The service was fine, the clientele absent apart from ourselves. The music was micxed and at a decent level.

Beer; tap stuff with a really nice pint of Warwickshire Beer Company's Duck Soup on handpull

Not much of a beer choice, but the Soup saved the day! the place is interesting to visit in its own right and i am sure i will again
