Nick Davies left this review about The Joseph Arch

Two bar village local in a double bay fronted building at the north end of the village near the river. More of a public bar the the left, dartboard etc, more for eating to the right with a central bar. Thankfuly few high tables and stools, always a promising sign. Pleasant terrace to the rear. It was in the process of rearrangement when we called as it is to double up as a curry house, with the assurance that that venture won't distract from its pubbiness. Punch related beers, which meant Doombar or Hobgoblin and two clips turned when we called. Opens at 4PM during the week.

Worth another look when it's running properly, done properly a pub/curry chimera should go down well in this well-heeled village.
