The pub was open on our visit. The majority of the customers were sitting outside in the front, including the barman. There was loud music blaring, two handpumps, one serving Doombar and the other one was turned back.

Rob Camra below says they only sold Real Ale at weekends so I went in there on a Sunday which is a weekend day and guess what? pumpclips were turned round then also which was very disappointing and I ended up drinking John Smiths Smooth as I wanted to watch the football.

This pub claims to open at 12 but it didn’t on the Tuesday we called. When we came back later it was open so we popped in. 2 handpumps on the bar but both pumpclips turned round, so I said to the landlord “No cask ale on then?”. He said “No we don’t sell it during the week only at weekends”. We popped out again, it looked like a pretty crap place anyway.
