Nick Davies left this review about The Four Alls

As it's just reopened after refurbishment we thought we've give this riverside honeypot a spin. Things started badly. Three handpumps, clips turned. "Any beer mate?" "No, sorry." "Pint of San Miguel then please." "Sorry that's off too." OK......and a packet of cheese and onion." "We've only got chilli or salt and vinegar." You get the picture, all a bit Thameslink.

Anyway once you've got something to drink, though possibly not what you were looking forward to, you can sit on the fine terrace by the river with views to the hillside beyond, if you're not too distracted by the neighbouring trailer parks. There's also a huge grassy area to the side furnished with picnic sets which hasn't seen a lawn mower for a while. (Note to gardener, move the picnic sets next time rather than mowing around them). Inside, the pub bit is at the back with views over the extensive car park, you have to eat in the on-trend (open kitchen, you know the deal) restaurant for river views. The food, by the way, is Jospered, it says here. I fear to think what that entails.

The main problem seems to be attention to detail - stock control, garden neglect, glasses uncollected. I've noticed this with Oakman Inns (for it is they) before, management issues I guess.

If you want an expensive meal I'm sure you'll be pleased, but as a pub you are far better off in the Bell down the road despite the pleasant location.
