Soup Dragon left this review about Three Horseshoes

This is a detached pub, with patio area, and with part of the building given over to the Mango Tree Indian restaurant. The pub looks Georgian, or early Victorian and is in white painted brick, with black paintwork (windows etc). It has a row of four large upper sash windows, with one being rounded, curiously - there are a couple of smaller ones flanking the door below, along with one larger one. The interior has three rooms, part partitioned off from each other. One is a pool area; another a bar, with a dart board (although someone would die if you played with the cureent seating arrangement) and the other more loungey. The are in cream, with wood floor (carpet in the loungey bit) and a white and beam ceiling. I didn't see a TV and the music was mixed and at a decent level. Mixed prints were on the walls and a few brasses and things dotted about. The service was fine and the place busy with locals. Beer; usual tap stuff with Doombar, Skekky Hen and an OK Bass on handpull. I got the feeling this was the more spit n sawdust of the three local pubs (the yard of ale championship board maybe evidence of this) and the real ale choice was a little more ubiquitous too. I had, and it is worth, a swifty.
