Nick Davies left this review about Millers Hotel

One of Greene King's mid-market Old English Inns format, this claims to be a reconstructed bakery. One wonders why it is called Millers and has a mill wheel going round in the bar area, I'm sure there's a logical explanation. Anyway most of it is hotel, you have to walk past the reception and so on to get to the bar, which is pleasantly oldified, with various seating areas, open fire, beams, and, astonishingly for GK just the one high table. Oh and that bloody waterwheel. It makes a talking point for a while and entertains the kids but after about three minutes the perpetual whoosh..whoosh becomes intensely annoying. IPA and Hen on the pumps, so I stuck to Eurofizz.

Stop if you are passing and in need of refreshment and the other pub is shut.
