Thuck Phat left this review about Dixie Arms

The Dixie is something of a yoof boozer, albeit a lively and pleasant one, to the right of the building and a pizza restaurant to the left with staff dotting between the two.
Just two beers on: Jennings Knight Porter, which was in good shape and Marstons Burton Bitter.
Not the ale range of the Red Lion next door but I'd have a squint in the window to see if there was anything on which appealed.

The original building has been split in half,to the left an Italian restaurant, the the right an open plan bar room with some exposed brickwork but contemporary in decor. There were a few round high tables close to the bar and three large banquettes to the side with a real fireplace at the far end below a large flat screen, with a logo for a music channel which provided the muzak.Lively and the haunt of a youngish crowd but all very well behaved.A solid drinking atmosphere also encouraged a few town crawlers from the older generation.
Three handpumps ,my Jennings Knight Porter was fresh and very good, and at £3.20 a sensible price compared with the pub nearby.
More of a boozer, with diners going next door and both being served by the busy barmaids this place would always get a visit from me when in Bosworth.

A decent looking pub from the outside but once inside the pub has been done up and spoilt in my opinion, there are leather type seats which look a bit naff.
There were two real ales on the bar i tried Marstons Pedigree which was fairly decent there was also Marstons Bitter on which i did'nt try.

Soup Dragon left this review about Dixie Arms

A cream rendered terraced Georgian styled pub, restaurant and hotel with hanging baskets and a rear beer garden.

The interior has two rooms, a bar and a restaurant. The restaurant is to the left on entry and serves mainly pizza. It is in white and wood panel, with some brown patterned wallpaper, with wood floor and a brick fireplace. There are arty pictures and has some culinary ephemera here and there. There is a sofa waiting area/drinks area in white and red wood panel, with some grey. The bar, to the right on entry, is in white and grey (it looked) and had a brick fireplace. It is modernish, but with some bar-stools. It has arty pictures. There is a TV, which had Sky Sports News on. The service was fine, the clientele amounted to us alone and the music was easy listening.

Beer; all tap stuff, with Peroni, which is what I had. Marston’s Burton Bitter was on the handpull – hence the Peroni!

Not enough on the beer front to make me want to drink in the bar, but the food was ok and Peroni goes well with a Pizza!
