The Royal Oak was my final stop in Kenilworth, as it does not open until 4pm.
A one-way system takes customers through one bar and back out of the other bar, with a really nice and secluded patio and garden at the rear.
Doom Bar is the regular ale here and the guest was also from Cornwall - Proper Job. A little disappointing, despite the nice garden.

Traditional looking pub with 3 beers on when we called. We had Bombardier which was fine. I would call again.

The Royal Oak is decent looking white painted pub that is just down from the Cross.
Once inside there is a small square shaped bar room to the front right,there is a separate lounge which is oblong shaped,the room had comfy bench seating and small stools and chairs,it is also carpeted,there is a TV to the rear which was showing the rugby,quiet background music was also playing.
There were three real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Robinsons Dizzy Blonde which went down very well,the other beers were Brakspear Bitter and Doom Bar.
This is a pleasant and comfy pub to have a drink in.

Has a selection of 4 real ales which are in reasonable condition. Busy ,cosy ,front room with black and white beams on ceiling and walls.The extended rear room is in the same style.Also has a seperate small room with pool table.
