The DYSART ARMS: gosh, no reviews..! I wonder why..? Is it because nobody goes here..?!? Please forgive my ignorance, but passing by the other day, I was overcome with thirst, and I was in need of liquid refreshment! And this looked, to my inexpert eye, to be a fairly pleasant drinking establishment. This was around 4 hours past the meridian, when most civilised souls are considering taking beverage. The lights were on (I could see the bar, through the ample windows to the front) but there was no-one home..! The doors were shut. I wandered around to the car park at the side & rear, and met a member of staff parking his car. He didn't seem to speak the Queens English very well, but from what he mumbled I gather the DYSART ARMS is more of a restaurant, and you have to book in advance if you want a meal or a drink! Well, well. Strange. All those times I've passed by going to Kingston, I thought this was a pub. Just shows, ALL is NOT what it may SEEM, sometimes! :o) TJ
