Old Blue left this review about The Red Barn Inn
A smart, L-shaped country pub with a large garden and car park, apparently a 300 year-old converted barn, with beamed ceilings, white walls and gastro grey wood panels. The large room to the left as you enter is most noticeably barn-like, and is the main dining part, the middle area having a mix of comfy chairs, sofas and tables with a bar billiards table and dartboard, and the far right being a ‘pantry’ area which I didn’t look into. I doubt the dartboard ever gets played - it’s just not that sort of pub. My visit yesterday found a busy wedding reception taking up the barn area and much of the garden, although not to the detriment of the atmosphere. Light rock music was playing at low volume whilst I was there.
A Geronimo Inn, the bar sported three handpulls offered Harveys Best, Sharps Six Hop IPA, and Westerham Special Bitter. I opted for the last of these purely because I hadn’t tried it before, rapidly regretting it when I realised I had just paid a whopping £4.30 for an extremely mediocre beer. I might come back here sometime for a game of bar billiards, but probably not for any other reason.
