The Smoked Haddock Fishcakes served with chips is pretty nice here. Although they can get busy at lunch the staff are a helpful bunch. (Ok - better not make anymore reviews for a while it shall look like I love the pub or something)

Visited today and the ale they have here at the moment is very good, there is London Pride and Timothy Taylor as the regular ales but there are 3 Guest Ales which no doubt change on a regular basis. If Real Ale is your thing this is probably the best place to go. Also the staff are friendly.

Visited today and the pub has recently changed on the food side of things. It was difficult to decide what to eat so the simple Ham, Egg and Chips was of good quality. The beer I had was London Pride which tasted excellent as usual. There are plenty of other Real Ales on which are worth a try. So, for food or beer this is one of the best pubs in Guildford.

Excellent pub for real ale lovers. There tends to be different brand names which you don't get at too many other places in town. Has recently changed it's food here, personally I prefer this one for a beer rather than dining out.
