A country pub set on the edge of a small village centre, helpful in being an all day opener,apart from being closed Mondays, something becoming more of a rarity in "out in the sticks pubs". It was however empty on a midweek afternoon which came as no no real suprise.It has three walk through rooms, smartly decorated in a livingroom style with comfortable upholsterd seating. Now a Freehouse which wasn't the case in Richards review from some seventeen years ago, however with a total of six handpumps, just two local beers were on Hogsback TEA and Andwell Gold Muddler, but both uninspiring to my palate, the TEA was however well looked after. A pleasant enough pub but not much to lure me back.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Cyder House Inn
After developing a rather jaundiced view of Surrey country pubs, this was a very refreshing change. More modern inside tham one might expect, but a nice atmosphere. Staff seemed interested, and the customers looked like they were enjoying the food and drink. Wished that I could have stayed longer...
