A village pub on a suburban road just outside Aldershot. There is limited parking and the outside is rather scruffy. There are 2 main bar areas and a games room with pool and darts at the back, all well described below. They run regular quiz nights, but outsiders are not welcome. It felt grimy, and the tables were sticky. There sandwiches and snacks on offer, but somehow we didn't feel like eating. The ales on offer were 6X, GK IPA, Surrey Hills Shere Drop and Andswell Golden IPA, plus Old Rosie cider. The beer was in poor condition and was grudgingly served by a barman who didn't seem to know what he was doing. I don't see my rushing back.

Very much a village local, three separate bars all serviced from a central bar servery
and accessed through open doorways, the doors now removed, the decor is basic white with lots of black beams, the walls adorned with several framed pictures in a victorian chocolate box style as well as a row of horse brasses above the servery, there are more modern affects in the shape of a flat screen mounted on the wall showing 1980s pop videos at a reasonable volume at the time of my visit, live football matches were advertised, there is a pool table and dartboard.A full menu is available for lunch and evening times. Available on the bar were five real ales, a blackboard above the bar informs us of the choice, which today was Hogsback TEA, Triple fff Pressed Rat And Warthog,Wychwood Hobgoblin and a brace from Surrey Hills,Ranmore Ale and Gilt Complex, the Ranmore was a decent drop at £3.60 a pint, there were also two Ciders from westons, Cloudy Pig and Old Rosie.Apparently they have up to 8 beers on at weekends. There was a decent attendance of after work
drinkers and as a result a good atmosphere,a really good pub and worth a revisit.

Excellent proper village pub. Three rooms joined together in a slightly random layout - a front lounge sort of room with bookshelves, middle room with tables and darts, and games room at rear - which mean you can find the space you want. A good range of ales, which seemed well kept and food sounded ok although not sampled. Collection of games available, good atmosphere and splendid pub dog!

Brilliant pub, always made to feel welcome. An ever-changing choice of real ales. Every time I come in there are always different beers on. Great village local with a great atmosphere. There is also a beer festival held here in September
