I have to agree with Quinno, It is hard to find, I also found it a little disappointing, the location and pub exterior promises much but the interior as described below was rather nondescript and food led. There were four handpulls on the bar though, two from Whitstable Brewery, Kent Shore and Pearl Of Kent and a more local beer in Hogs Back TEA, I went for the Kent Shore and found it to be struggling a little with the heatwave conditions.The food may be good,I didn't try or see any but a country pub way out in the sticks probably not worth going way out for a beer.

Hard-to-find pub off a gravel side road which apparently used to be a bakery. Sat in picturesque grounds but inside it’s modern, opened-out and bland, I think they were going for ‘farmhouse kitchen’ look (tongue and groove wood panelling, mushy pea colour, empty Welsh dresser) but there’s too much open space to make it feel homely. Child friendly. Four ales on and a good selection; Hammerpot IPA, Hogs Back TEA, Triple FFF Moondance and Whitstable. Went for the Whitstable only to get a beer that was spluttery out of the pipes and was utterly flat. After pointing this out, the barmaid immediately went and got the landlord who declared it ‘absolutely fine’ (which probably tells you something). After standing my ground I eventually got a grudgingly produced replacement which (as I was at pains to point out) was in good form but matey boy had backed himself too much into a corner to acknowledge it. An unfortunately unsatisfactory experience.
